We are a diverse group with representation from across the LGBTQ+ spectrum and are currently meeting at least once per month. To join the shed, you can register here.

Organic Growing and Seed Saving workshop
Learn how to seed save and grow with Dan O Connor at the Next Queer Sheds Clare workshop 🌱
Dan believes that growing our own food can add to our community and lives, and will be running our Seed Saving workshop in August sharing the hows and whys of seed saving. Those taking part will get to delve into agroecological and organic farming, doing some planting whilst exploring Irish archaeology and conservation.
Following a lifelong passion for nature and human rights activism, Dan studied Irish Archaeology, Permaculture and Sustainable Horticulture to learn about material culture, environmental history and ancient ways of living and farming. He is interested in exploring community organising, foodways and heritage and has been working for years around orcharding, local food and regenerative farming. He has a huge love of fermentation, music and DIY culture as a whole and spends his time with solidarity work and queer activism.
